Buddist Temple Trip

What did you learn?

·      To have ‘Good Manners’

·      To do ‘Good Deeds’

·      To have ‘Good Thoughts’

·      To relax – Meditation

What was tricky for me?

·      Lots of people hopping on the bus at the same time.

·      Sitting at the back because I could’nt see sometimes.

What was I proud of?

·      I had my listening ears on all day.

·      Putting the flower on the wall.

·      Ringing the bell.

What would we like to do next?

·      Go on another trip !

I am learning patterns to 5.

 "I know what comes before and after. I'm learning to know the words of the patterns to 5.  Mum and Dad help me with Maths at home, and Mrs Wyatt helps me with Maths at school.  I like Maths. Counting to 22 is tricky for me."

I am learning to match the pictures to my writing.

"I need finger spaces.  The picture is nice.  Mrs Wyatt helps me."

I am learning that illustrations can help me read the story.

"I can match the pictures, and I looked at the words on the back. Mrs Wyatt helps me to read, and play the games."

I am learning to write numbers correctly.

"I found the number four and five hard to do.  Mrs Wyatt helps me to do the numbers."

Our Sandpit Rules

What did I learn?

·      Share the sandpit toys.

·      No throwing sand at people or out of the sandpit.

·      Help to tidy up the sandpit before the bell rings.

·      Line up your shoes when you take them off.

What did I find tricky?

·      Helping to pull the sandpit cover on and over.

What was I proud of?

·      I was proud of knowing the rules, and being good.

What help did I need?

·      To put the sandpit cover on.

·      Carrying the sandpit toys to Room 1.

What would you like to do next time?

·      Play longer in the sandpit.
